Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and let everybody know we’re still alive here at The Realm. Just had to take five and occupy myself with some other non-bad-movie-related things for a while. There are some things in the works, including a new review of one of the worst movies I’ve ever suffered through, and a much needed overhaul of the numerous Gamera-related articles which appeared on the old version of the site.
BadMovieRealm.com with no Gamera is a travesty which must be rectified.
In other news, I am toying with the idea of adding the occasional guest review from time to time to help with the flow of new content and perhaps add a little different perspective on things. If you are interested, just contact me at webmaster@badmovierealm.com. No promises that everyone–or anyone for that matter–will be accepted, but just thought I’d throw a feeler out there to gauge interest.
Also, YouTube is really starting to piss me off immensely with the constant flagging of my videos (MGM and Kadokawa Pictures being the worst offenders, in my experience), all of which are either in the public domain completely (Santa Claus Conquers the Martians and Attack of the Monsters have both been pulled and are both available for download at Archive.org…RAGE!), or are used in accordance with the Fair Use Law.
Despite this fact, I still must subject myself to possible legal action from huge corporations and their slimy swarm of lawyers to even protest their removal. So, if anyone has any good, free alternatives to YouTube, I’d be very appreciative. If not, I’ll just host the videos my damn self, I suppose.
