From Famous Monsters of Filmland:

Famous Monsters, the world’s first monster fan magazine, invades Comic Con with another incredible exclusive cover. Metal god and monster fan Kirk Hammett graces this issue as his horror host alter ego, Kirk Von Hammett-as featured in his book TOO MUCH HORROR BUSINESS. A lifelong fan of monster movies and owner of one of the world’s foremost collections of horror movie memorabilia, Kirk has spent decades collecting, preserving, and restoring much of cinematic monster history. Cover by Terry Wolfinger. Available only at the FM booth at San Diego Comic Con (1509). Limited to 500, these WILL sell out!

This is pretty cool for me, as I am a huge fan of Metallica (I’m the guy who liked St. Anger and Lulu…), Mr. Hammett (one of the major reasons I first picked up a guitar), and cheesy old monster movies. I am much less a fan of this cover being a San Diego Comic Con booth exclusive, but hey, what are ya gonna do?

I guess it’s Ebay for me, unless one of you amazing visitors would like to send me a copy as a reward for all the hard work I do around here… Hello? Anybody still here? Ah, Nuts!
