If you are a fan of hilarious, over-the-top, horror movies, here’s your chance to to help fund the upcoming indie horror/comedy from Dustin Wayde Mills (Easter Casket, Puppet Monster Massacre), Slaughterhouse Slumber Party!

Dustin Mills Productions, the production house that brought you THE PUPPET MONSTER MASSACRE and EASTER CASKET, has taken to Kickstarter to fund their upcoming horror extravaganza SLAUGHTERHOUSE SLUMBER PARTY. This is DMP’s most ambitious project yet, with a cast of both new and familiar faces and incredible makeup and effects by Marcus Koch (MOHAWK, WE ARE STILL HERE, the AMERICAN GUINEA PIG series) and Dustin Mills himself. The campaign launched on July 8th and as of this writing over 100 backers have raised $5,387 of the project’s $13,948 goal with two weeks remaining (now over 160 backers pledging over $9000! -Derek)–the campaign ends August 7th. Stay tuned to the Kickstarter page for more information coming soon, and check out interviews with cast members Haley Jay Madison, Kayla Elizabeth, and Erin R. Ryan!

Film Synopsis:
A group of gorgeous gal pals are horrified when one of their friends dies in a tragic naked pillow fight accident during their annual Slumber Party. Fearing legal repercussions, the ladies dump her body in a swamp and forge a runaway letter. Years later, the girls reunite to boob it up one more time with a saucy Slumber Party for the ages, only to have their party pooped by the vengeful spirit of their dear departed friend. Trapped by magic, surrounded by evil, and very underdressed, will they survive the night? Or will this Slumber Party become a Slaughterhouse?

I mean, c’mon. They deserve a few bucks for the awesome poster art alone, right?

Up next for review here on BadMovieRealm.com, is For Y’ur Height Only, starring the diminutive, Filipino action star, Weng Weng!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the legendary Mr. Weng (born, Ernesto de la Cruz), this little music video from The CHUDS should help bring you up to speed on his awesomeness.

“Weng Weng Weng Weng 2’9″
He’ll kick you in the nutsack from behind!”

Hey there bad movie fans. Just thought I’d pop in and give everyone a quick rundown of what’s going on around here at BadMovieRealm.com.

First off, I’m currently going through all of the reviews from the old site that were never updated and transferred to the new site. My plan is to rework and convert most of them so they can be reposted here. Most of these reviews were written over TEN YEARS AGO(!) and are, shall we say, very rough from a stylistic and structural (and grammatical) standpoint.

Seriously. When did this happen?

It’s going to be a process, but I’ve already posted the (slightly) updated review for American Force 2 a couple days ago. It needed the least work, but it’s a start.

Also in the pipeline is a review for the gloriously terrible Tommy Wiseau drama, The Room. Frankly, I should have tackled it 10 years ago. I have no excuse, really.

This site is also in desperate need of some giant Japanese monster action. The old site had a ton of Kaiju films covered thanks to the Gamera Movie Madness series on the old site where, in a series of mini reviews, I covered every Gamera flick up to that point. Unfortunately, these are not up to standard so I can’t just transfer them here. I’m debating attempting to rework them into a series of blog posts, or just scrapping them all and tackling each film one at a time.

I need more hours in the day.

Also, Godzilla’s Revenge definitely needs to be a part of this site again. Godzilla’s son Minya belongs here. I mean, c’mon. Look at that face.

Finally, there’s also some small, behind the scenes technical tweaks and changes going on, but no one besides me cares about that.

Anyway, I think that’s all for now. Thanks for following the site and be sure to check back often and follow us on Twitter @BadMovieRealm to stay up to date on all new updates, reviews, and posts here on BadMovieRealm.com.
